The recipe for garlic butter, chicken and potatoes is the simplest and most delicious dinner on each workday. Not only on every working day, it can even be a dish that can be enjoyed with family anytime, anywhere.

Garlic Butter Chicken and Potatoes Skillet

  • 1 1/2 lb (650g) baby yellow potatoes, quartered
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • Salt and fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lb (650g) chicken breast, cut into strips
  • Crushed red chili pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

The marinade

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or coconut amino if you’re strictly paleo)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (we used Sriracha)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh cracked pepper


  1. In a large bowl, mix the chicken pieces with soy sauce, olive oil, pepper and chili sauce. Set aside for the season when cooking potatoes.
  2. Cook the potatoes in boiling salt water for 8 minutes. This will speed up cooking time in the pan and ensure the potatoes have golden skin.
  3. In a large skillet, over medium heat, mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. After the butter has melted, add the dried potatoes. Cook the potatoes for about 4 minutes, then stir for 4-5 minutes until the potatoes turn golden and tender. We move the french fries to the plate and put them aside.
  4. Put the same pan on medium heat, add two tablespoons of butter, place the pieces of chicken in the pan, save the dried herbs for later use. Add the garlic flakes and red pepper to the chicken. Cook the chicken pieces on both sides for one minute until they turn brown, adjusting the time according to your favorite roasted chicken.
  5. Stir in the desired seasoning, then cook the chicken until the seasoning is tender. Add fresh herbs and stir quickly. Then we return the french fries to the pan and heat it up. If necessary, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from the heat and immediately serve the garlic chicken butter recipe with mashed potatoes, garnish with fresh chilies and herbs, sprinkle chicken and mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese. Enjoy
